Code of Conduct

Every social movement begins with speaking up and speaking out. Coupled with the words, it is the daily action of doing what we say that results in real and sustainable change. We want to be a part of that conversation and we want to be a part of that change.

101 Cider house believes in equality and acceptance regardless of Race, Religion, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, or any other protected status.

Whether it be for staff, guests, or vendors, we will strive to provide a safe environment for everyone. A safe environment means our company will actively work to provide a place that is free from discrimination or harassment of any kind regardless of the role you play in our day to day. In addition to our anti-discrimination hiring policies and anti-harassment training we require for all of our staff, we would like to publicly declare 101 Cider House a safe space for all and make a continued commitment to our community to both do and be better.

In a continued effort to couple real action with words, we would like for it to be known that harassment, discrimination, or assault among our staff or patrons will never be tolerated on any level. We will provide a safe space both figuratively and literally for open and free flowing communication. Any reports of wrongdoing will be dealt with swiftly and and with respect to all injured parties. If any of our staff see or experience action that violates this promise they have been instructed to speak up directly to the situation immediately or bring is to the attention of the management as the case may warrant. We request that any patrons also do the same.

We encourage all our employees to report any instance of discrimination, harassment, or assault immediately and commit to investigating each instance in a timely manner.

When like minded folks get together and combine our efforts for the sake of better - a better industry, a better community, a better world, we can make waves and move mountains. Our company would like a seat at that table and we hope to see you there too.
